This is a deck tech that lets you really feel like Shadow the Hedgehog from "Shadow the Hedgehog" by SEGA. These proxies and deck list were created by my editor and co-writer @anthonykronos.

The Chaos Emeralds as The Fallout Bobbleheads:

7 Mana rocks that get stronger the more you collect them? I mean come on, talk about a perfect match! Secret Lair - what are we doing with Lotus Petals? You can't put 7 Lotus Petals in your deck, but you can proxy these!

"When I was working on this deck list I was using a ton of unrelated mana artifacts, but when I finally connected the dots on this one I knew it was a perfect fit!"

- Anthony

Shadow's Friends & Foes :

The best part of this Secret Lair is seeing the characters you love get their own card. Except they left a ton of them out! Big Swings, haste and monoblack card value make these a casual commander no brainer. (Rogue not getting her own card in this Secret Lair feels criminal.)

"I would have loved to use a more fitting theft style card for rouge but i felt the creature type was way too important to ignore on on of the big three of Team Dark."

- Anthony

Fun and G.U.N. :

Shadow simply wouldn't be Shadow without a pistol and a motorcycle. It's worth noting the utility of the Adaptive Omnitool aka "Unshackled Limiter Rings". This card allows the strength of your creatures to grow with your amount of mana rocks while letting you search for more artifacts every time you attack. This is a very strong card for Shadow.

"At first I made Doom Surf as a joke, but the more I thought about it the more I just actually wanted to put it in the deck."

- Anthony

Iconic Moments :

Your favorite moments and actions from Shadow's history as a few lands, instants, and sorceries. Depress the table with a Cathartic Reunion into Heartless Act!

"While there was no way I could in good conscience include a card for Maria, especially in a Rakdos color scheme, it was important to include nods to that aspect of Shadow's past."

- Anthony

Goofy Little Guys :

More trample, haste, and aggro creatures as the little dudes we all know and love.

"I had to stretch my definition of what I wanted to be allowable to have art for some of these 'jobber' enemy cards, but all things considered they aren't completely terrible."

- Anthony

I hope you all enjoy these proxies and have fun playing with the new Sonic Secret Lair!

"If you want any of the files for these and more proxies for this deck I have included the link to my Google Drive where I keep them! Cheers!"

- Anthony
